Miss Mary Bishop Wed to Max Bass

RALEIGH, Feb. 1. ? In an impressive ceremony Saturday morning, January 18, in the Methodist Church of Wilson, Miss Mary Frances Bishop, of Raleigh, became the bride of Mack Gilbrey Bass Jr., of Wilson. Rev. H.B. Porter officiated.
The bride and bridegroom entered the church together unattended. The bride wore a lovely French wool rose suit with black accessories. Her flowers were a shoulder corsage of American Beauty roses.
Immediately after the ceremony the bride?s parents entertained at a luncheon honoring the couple, out-of-town guests and intimate friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Bass are now residing in Pimmlico, Md., following a wedding trip to Washington, where they attended the inauguration.
Mrs. Bass, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Bishop, of Raleigh, formerly of Wilson, received his education at A.C. college in Augusta, Ga., and Smith-Deal-Massey Business college in Richmond, Va. For the past several years she has been connected with the WPA in Raleigh as secretary.
Mr. Bass, the son of Mr. and Mrs. M.G. Bass, of Wilson, attended State college. He later graduated from the Curtiss-Wright Technical Institute and is now connected with Curtiss-Wright in Pimlico, Md.
