Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Rutherfordton Presbyterian Church. Also surviving are his wife, Mrs. Patsy S. Bass; three daughters, Mrs. Emily Fox of Hendersonville, Mrs. Virginia Tate of Hickory and Mrs. Patsy Mitchell of Rutherfordton; a brother, Brooks Bass of Newport News, Va.; two sisters, Miss Virginia Bass of Scotland Neck and Mrs. Lucille Hary of Alexandria, Va.; and six grandchildren. Crowe Funeral Home in Rutherfordton is handling arragenements.
