Lillian H. Bass, 68, of Fort Dodge, died January 19, 2014, at Trinity Regional Medical Center. A service honoring Lillian's life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, January 23, at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel. The family will greet friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time on Thursday at the Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Lillian is survived by her husband Ronald; her daughter Joleen; her siblings, Betty (Don) Green, Boise, ID; Donald (Ardie) Kenne, Humboldt; Henry Kenne, Manson; Karen (Jim) Porter, Fort Dodge; Duane (Darla) Kenne, Detroit, MI; her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara Bass, Troy, MI; Helen Crannie, Fort Dodge; Richard Bass, Bellevue; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald Richard Bass and Brian James Bass, her parents and her brother Ed. Lillian Helen Kenne, the daughter of Donald and Lillian (Holm) Kenne, was born September 15, 1945, near Bancroft. She was reared and educated in Gowrie and Fort Dodge and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1965. In 1965, Lillian was united in marriage to Ronald Bass in Fort Dodge. She did babysitting and also worked as a dietary aide at Greenleaf Care Center. Lillian was also a homemaker who loved sewing and watching soap operas.
