Charles Bass Funeral To Be Thursday
Funeral services for Charles T. Bass, 81, of 8536 16th Av. N.W. Will be at 1 o?clock Thursday in the Evangelical Free Church. Burial will be in Crown Hill under direction of Wiggen & Sons mortuary.
Mr. Bass died Sunday in a nursing home. Born in Oconee, Ill., he went to St. Andrews, Douglas County in 1906 and came here in 1921. He established the Bass Construction Co. first a cement contractring firm and now a road-building firm.
Mr. Bass retired five years ago. He was a member of the Associated General Contractors.
Surviving are his wife, Palmer L.; three sons, William L., and Leland R., both of Seattle, and C. Lowell Bass, Bellevue; a daughter, Mrs. Alfred Prahinski, Edmonds; two sisters, Mrs. Ross H. Bobbitt, and Mrs. Ray Marsland, both of Aurora, Ill.; a brother, James Bass, Ramsey, Ill., ten grandchildren and a great-grandson.
The family suggest rememberances to the Evangelical Free Church.
