  Notes	The Times Tri-Cities Daily, Florence, Alabama, Tuesday, 26 September 1967 Harvey Bass Harvey Columbus Bass, 76, of North Jackson Ave., Russellville, died Monday at 1:55 p.m. after a brief illness. He was a native of Franklin County, member of First Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge, and was retired as a member of the Franklin County Board of Education. he was a retired school teacher and had been engaged in farming. Services will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. from First Baptist Church in Russellville with Rev. George H. Jackson officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens, Spry of Russellville directing. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Victoria Rhodes Bass; four daughters, Mrs. Lorene Steward, Cullman; Mrs. Gladys Shoemaker, Russellville; Mrs. Opal Trapp, Sheffield; Mrs. Maudine Smith, Muscle Shoals; two sons, Verdie Bass; Thomas L. bass, both of Russellville; 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. Masonic rites will be conducted at the grave.
