Bassett
James Fall Bassett of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Staunton, passed away Wednesday October 7, at St. Luke?s West Hospital in St. Louis.
Born March 17, 1896, in Kentucky, he was age 85 years at time of death.
He married Martha Ficker who preceded him in death during March of 1967.
Mr. Bassett was a member of Unity Lutheran Church in St. Louise, Mo.
Graveside services were conducted Saturday, October 10, by rev. David Keurschner at Staunton City Cemetery.
Survivijng are one step-daughter, Ruth Greene of St. Louis, one step son, L. Robert Reiker of St. Louis; four grandchildren and give great-grandchildren.
Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton was in charge of arrangements.
