(1896-1990)
Born in Holyoke, in the State of Massachusetts, June 6, 1896 , son of Joseph R. Pouliot, a farmer, and Célanire Morel.
Was educated at the Convent of the Sisters of the Presentation in Holyoke , at St. Francis Xavier School in Brompton and Sherbrooke Business College.
From 1911 to 1961 he worked at Canadian Pacific where he held the following functions: clerk stenographer at Farnham ( 1911-1916 ), telegrapher and substitute trains Farnham ( 1916-1923 ) sender; train dispatcher in Farnham ( 1923 1937) , leader of the movement of trains in Montreal ( 1937-1940 ), transportation supervisor in North Bay, Ontario ( 1940-1942 ), director of the division of Woodstock , New Brunswick ( 1942 and 1943 ) Director division of Montreal (1943 and 1944 ) , general manager of the company in Central Quebec Sherbrooke ( 1944-1947 ), Director General for Quebec, eastern Ontario and Vermont ( 1947-1959 ), Deputy Director General Atlantic Region ( 1959-1961 ) .
Conservative candidate in Missisquoi in 1931. Conservative MP elected in the same constituency in 1935. Elected member of the National Union in 1936. Whip this policy from October 1936 to September 1939 training . Defeated in 1939.
Division President Farnham telegrapher and station masters from 1921 to 1937. Churchwarden of the parish of St. Joseph in Mont- Royal from 1959 to 1961. President of the Association of the pioneers of Canadian Pacific in 1967 . President 's Circle of the Golden Mount Royal 1972-1974 age.
Died in Mont- Royal, March 11, 1990 , at the age of 93 years and 9 months. Buried in the cemetery of Farnham, 17 March 1990 .
Had married in Farnham, 20 June 1921 , Leona Bessette, daughter of Joseph- Napoleon Bessette , an employee of Canadian Pacific and Caroline Girard .
