Willie C. Bass
EDENTON, NC ? William Mae Corbitt Bass, 68, of Route 3 died May 21, 1986, in a hospital.
Mrs. Bass, a Perquimans County native, was a member of Rocky Hock Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Bass; two daughters, Shirley Pizzitola of Columbia, Md., and Cathy Forehand of Edenton; two sons, Norman ?Shorty? L. Bass and Eugene Bass, both of Edenton; four sisters, Hilda Newby of Norfolk, Va., Gracie Benton of Deland, Fla.; Pauline Harris of Elizabeth City and Mattie L. Colson of Hertford; two brothers, Joseph S. Corbitt of Suffolk, Va., and William H. Corbitt of Virginia Beach, Va.; six grandchildren.
The funeral was conducted at 4 p.m. Friday, May 23rd, in Rocky Hock Baptist Church by the Reverends Donald Wagner and Tony Moore. Burial was in Beaver Hill Cemetery. Williford-Barham Funeral Home, Edenton handled the arrangements.
