Convalescent Center. He retired from Faultless Caster and attended Gospel Assembly Church in Dawson Springs, Ky. Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn Bass of Evansville and Christy Guess of Marion; a son, Carroll of Newburgh; four grandchildren, Matthew Bass, Rebecca Kelley, and Miranda and Adam Guess; and two great-grandchildren. His wife, Mary E. (Cobb), died in 1975. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Loveless Chapel Cemetery in Marion, the Rev. Herbert L. Hope officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion.
