John Bass, Aged 60, Dies; Rites Monday
Services for John B. Bass, 60, a former Chattanoogan, who died early Wednesday morning in Las Vegas, Nev., where he had lived for the past several months, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday from the graveside in National Cemetery with the Rev. Leland Menard officiating.
Survivors include a daughter, Miss Martha Bass; three sons, Jimmy Bass and Jay Bass, both of California, Steve Bass, of Nevada.
Four brothers, Cecil Bradford of Gadsden, Ala., Jee lee Bradford of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., Elmer J. Bass of Chattanooga, and Ralph W. Bass of Chariton, Mass.
Four sisters, Mrs. Pearl Everett of Daytona, Fla., Mrs. Mary Baker of Rossville, Gas., Mrs. Thelma Luttrell of East Ridge, Tenn., and Mrs. Corine Coots of Chattanooga.
Arrangements are by the J. Avery Bryan Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends after 10 a.m. today.
