Norwood Bass
CLINTON ? Norwood Bass, 75, of 702 McKinnon St., passed away on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
Born in 1941 to the late Theo Bass and Flossie Thornton Bass. Norwood is a former employee of Rose Buick of Clinton, Triangle Motors and with the Department of Transportation, he enjoyed riding motorcycles. Norwood is preceded in death by his brother Glenn Bass, sister-in-law Gracie Daw Bass and his four legged companion Harley.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, Oct. 17, at Piney Grove Baptist Church, 1818 McCullen Road, Faison with pastor Lynn Blackburn officiating.
Norwood leaves to cherish his memories, his sons, Timothy Bass and wife Cheryl of Warsaw and Patrick Bass and wife Tonya of Savannah, Ga.; daughter, Sherrie Lewis and husband Leonard of Delway; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
