  Notes	Find-a-Grave Obituary Joe Dan Bass CLUTE ? Funeral services for Joe Dan Bass, 31 well-known county hunter and fisherman, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church here. Bass died in the Community Hospital Saturday following a brief illness. He was a 1953 graduate of Freeport High School, Bass worked for the Dow Chemical Co. of 11 years in the yard department, V-1 and V-2. He also was a cattleman. Survivors include his wife, Doris Stoval; a daughter, Danna, and son David, all of 313 Billington, Clute. Also, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Bass of Clute; a brother, Dennis of Clute; a grandmother, Mrs. J.W. Scott of Clute, and two nieces and a nephew. The Rev. David Smith, pastor, will officiate at the services with Rev. Warren McAlister, pastor of the Clute Temple Baptist Church, assisting. Burial will follow at Restwood Memorial Park, under the direction of the Freeport Funeral Home. Bass will lie in state prior to the services.
