- DEATH & BUR.: Obituary: "Blackfoot - Sarah Wagner Bassett, 76, Blackfoot, died Thursday, March 17, 1983, at the Weber Memorial Care Center in Roy, Utah, of cancer. Mrs. Bassett had been a patient at the Care Center for the past two months. She was born Aug. 5, 1906, in Thomas, the daughter of Robert K. and Margaret Ann Mills McMurdie. She received her education in schools in Thomas and in Richmond, Utah. She lived most of her life in the Blackfoot area. In 1927 she married Ray Driggs, and they were later divorced. On July 2, 1930, she married John W. (Jack) Wagner. He died in 1952. On May 14, 1954 she married Frank Bassett, and he died in 1981. . . Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, March 21, at the Blackfoot 3rd Ward LDS Church, 845 Grant St. . . Friends may call at the Hill-Coltrin-Sandberg Funeral Home. . . Burial will be in the Groveland Cemetery."
