Solomon Bass To Be Guest Speaker Waco Methodist Evangleims Series To Begin Sunday Waco Methodist Church will begin a series of evangelistic meetings Sunday at 7:30 p.m. with the Rev. Solomon Bass of Bridgeport as guest speaker. Meetings will continue each night closing Feb. 5. Speical music will be featured each night. The Rev. Mr. Bass is a native of Tennessee. He attended Maryville College and was graduated from Cumberland University. He received his theological training at Vanderbilt University School of Religion at Nashville and for eight yerars served as pastor in the Tennessee Conference of the Methodist Church before joining the U.A. Air Corps. He served as chaplain in Italy 19 months. The Rev. Mr. Bass currently is serving as pastor of First Church at Bridgeport. He is in the active Army reserve assigned in the 983rd Engineer En. at Bellaire. He has traveled extensively in Italy, France, Egypt and Syria.
