Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Leva Odessa Bass; a son, Bonzie Hutson; a daughter, Mrs. Bobbie Adams of Moss; five brothers, Bill Bass of Transylvania, La., Chester Bass and Archie Bass, both of Oak Grove, La., Henry Bass of Los Angeles and Jasper Bass of Jennings, La; three sisters, Mn Fanni Tyson of Oak Grove, La., Arlene Bass of Louisiana and Viola Bass of Texas; and six grandchildren. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Tallahome Baptist Church and formerly was employed by the Jones County Road Department.
