  Notes	Find-a-Grave Obituary Residents? brother expires; buried in Lake Providence Bill Bass, 77, died Monday at Regent East Carroll Hospital in Lake Providence after a short illness. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Assembly of God Church in Lake Providence with the Rev. Roger Ely officiating. Burial followed in Providence Memorial Park Cemetery in Lake Providence under direction of Cox Funeral Home of Lake Providence. Mr. Bass was a resident of East Carroll Parish for 35 years where he attended the First Assembly of God Church in Lake Providence. He was also a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Flora Bass, of Transylvania; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Lovell of Transylvania and Mrs. Zelma Taffaro, of Metarioe; two brothers, Archie Bass and Henry Bass, both of Oak Grove; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Tyson, of Oak Grove and Mrs. Viola King, of Sequin, Wash.; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were David Frith, Hal Waller, Danny Frith, Johnny Johnson, Bob Robertson, and Fuzz Johnson. Honorary pallbearers were J.W. Maddox and Herman Johnson.
