  Notes	Houston Times Post, August 21, 1996 Carroll Franklin Bass Austell, Ga.-Carroll Franklin Bass, 61, passed away Aug. 15 in his home in Austell, Ga., following a battle with cancer. Bass was born in Simpson County the son of Phillip Benjamin Bass and Hattie Little Bass and worked as a photographic equipment salesman for AGFA Photo Supply Company. He was retired from AGFA and was living in Austell where he was a member of the Mount Pisgah Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Geneva martin Bass of Austell; one son, Kenneth Franklin Bass, and wife, Vicki of Kennesaw, Ga.; four brothers, Phillip Bass, Charlie Bass and Paul Bass, all of Jackson and Edward Bass of Poplarsville; and one grandson, Douglas Franklin Bass of Kennesaw, Ga. Funeral services were held Saturday at Houston Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Hester officiating. Interment followed at Wake Forrest Cemetery.
