  Notes	Clarion-Ledger, Wednesday, April 8, 1998 Phillip L. Bass retired electrician Phillip L Bass, 67, of LaSalle Street, a retired electrician, died Monday of heart failure at his home. Services are 2 p.m. today at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home on High Street with burial in Lakewood Cemetery. Visitation is after 12:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Bass was a Simpson County native and a Jackson resident since 1954. He was an electrician with the Mississippi State Parks Commission prior to retirement. He was a Korean War Navy veteran. Survivors include: brothers, Charles W. Bass and Paul Bass, both of Jackson; and nieces and nephews.
