Michael Alfred Bass, age 60, of Charleston, SC and formerly of Fairmont, N.C. was born March 2, 1960 in Durham, NC to James Alfred Bass and Ingrid Wesp Bass. He passed away on June 30, 2020. Michael was a 1978 graduate of Fairmont High School. He also attended UNC Chapel Hill He was an avid Tar Heel fan. He was dearly loved by his family and friends. Michael was preceded in death by his father, James Alfred Bass; a brother Glenn Franklin Bass. He leaves to cherish his memories his three children, James Michael Bass, Anna Lorilie Bass and Jeremiah Eldon Bass; his mother, Ingrid Bass of Fairmont; two brothers five grandchildren, Brooklyn Bass, James Maston Bass, Evalyn Grace Bass, Annabelle Lee Bass and Malakhia Bass; brothers, Stacy Philip Bass and James Stephen Bass; other family members and friends.
A special thanks to Janine (Jamie) Franklin & Family, Michael?s South Carolina Family. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, July 6, 2020 at 10AM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont.
