Janie Tittle Bass
Janie Tittle Bass of Simms, Texas passed away Friday, September 6, 2019 at a Texarkana, Texas hospice facility. She was 69.
Janie was born July 26, 1950, in New Boston, Texas, to James and Joan Weaver May. On April 19, 1999, she was married to Everet "Sam" Bass in New Boston, Texas. She was a retired Materials Expeditor at Red River Army Depot and a member of Plantation Baptist Church in Malta, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Sam Bass of Simms, Texas; a son and daughter-inlaw, Wayne and Amanda Tittle of Simms, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Greg Scott of New Boston, Texas; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Holly and Larry Chisum of New Boston, Texas and Carol and Jim Williamson of Malta, Texas; two grandchildren, Logan Scott and Kolton Scott; a special friend, Gail Knutson of Texarkana, Texas; and numerous other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
