Jennifer L. Bass
1968 ? 2021
Jennifer Lynne Bass, 53 of Clare and formerly of Midland, left this world Tuesday afternoon, May 11, 2021 at the MidMichigan Medical Center. She was born March 9, 1968 in Midland, daughter of Patricia (Keating) Walker and the late Leroy Bass. Jennifer spent most of her life in the Midland area where she could remain close to her family; it is what she lived for. No matter the circumstance, Jennifer was always there for those she loved. A mother to all, her nurturing nature was experienced by many, whether it be a warm meal, a hand to hold, or a shoulder to cry on. Jennifer loved shopping especially yard sales. There was always a treasure to be found whether it was for herself or someone else. Jennifer did her best to do everything she could for everyone she loved, and she will be greatly missed for it.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Patricia Walker; children, Courtney (Kyle) Gray, Brittany (Ted Miller) Dobschensky, Rachel (George) Stenger, and Kyle Dobschensky; grandchildren, Kaleb Gray, Kylea Gray, Sadie Gray, Lacey Gray, Veronica Miller, Wyatt Miller, Laurence Stenger, and Ryan Stenger; sisters, Cinde Novak, Maureen Leonard, Jill Yancer, Iris Jolls, and Peggy Chapman; brother, Michael Bass; partner, Timothy Hand; and many beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her father Leroy Bass, Jennifer was preceded in death by her sister Eileen "George" Ingram, granddaughter, Holley Stenger, and stepmother Shirley Bass.
In accordance with Jennifer's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will take place beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 30, 2021 at the Clare Moose Lodge, 1890 E. Ludington Dr. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider her family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Directors.
