In Memory of Mrs. Buford Aileen Bass

Buford Andrews Bass, 95, passed peacefully into God's arms on November 18, 2013. Born Buford Aileen Andrews in Dublin, Alabama, she was the daughter of William Dudley Andrews and Nettie Margaret Browder. Buford was the widow of James C. Bass who passed in May, 2000. She was also predeceased by 6 brothers and sisters, her grandson, Taylor, and her great-grandson Stephen. She was a devout Christian and worshiped at Catoma Baptist Church. Her greatest joys in life were God and Family. She studied her Bible daily. She and her husband enjoyed travelling. For the past 9 years, she has resided at Beacon Pointe Memory Care in Clifton Park, NY to be near her daughter Deborah Trawick and Deborah's husband Charles, and her grand-daughter, Margaret. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Betty Parrish of Montgomery, Brenda Gilbert of Knoxville, TN and Deborah Trawick of Glenville, NY. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery at 2pm on Sunday, November 24. Visitation for family will be on Saturday at Leak Memory Chapel from 4-7pm. Friends may visit from 5-7pm. On line condolences may be made at www.leak-mc.com.
