  Notes	Goshen News, Indiana, Septmeber, 2021 Arlene Bassett July 27, 1943 ? September 15, 2021 Arlene Bassett, passed away on the 15th of September in Goshen after a brief illness. She is survived by her husband, Myron W. Bassett; her son, William "Bill" Bassett; her brother, Jack Kenny and her sisters, Wendy (Edward) Huether and Beatrice (Wayne) Higgins. She worked at the Physical Plant at Goshen College from 1987-1997, and was a fierce advocate for international students who worked for her. She hosted several international students in her home for extended periods of time, and was a true global citizen who could see the human in every person she encountered. To remember Arlene and her expansive love for all humanity, we will host a tree planting ceremony at Goshen College. Please convene at the Physical Plant at 1 p.m. on 23rd of October for this ceremony. Following the ceremony, you are invited to an open house, 2 to 7 p.m. at her home, 1713 Mayfield Drive, Goshen to celebrate her life.
