Robert Lee Bass

Robert Lee Bass, age 86, of Oklahoma City, went to be with our Lord Jesus on the 27th day of February, 2013. Robert was a World War II Veteran and retired after 42 years from Tinker Air Force Base. He and his wife of 64 years enjoyed their time traveling to places like South Padre Island, where they would spend months with their friends fishing, camping and relaxing. Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing with his three boys and especially enjoyed his time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Robert's passing signifies an end of a generation in the Bass family, and we will love and miss him with all our hearts. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Bass; son, David Bass, and daughter-in-law, Barbara Bass. He is survived by his sons, Ronald Bass and Dennis Bass; daughter-in-law, Debbie Bass; grandchildren, Von Bass, Zak Bass, Trish Bass, Joe Salinas, Sara Salinas, Mark Mize, Rayna Mize; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Demuth Funeral Home on Monday, March 4, 2013, at 10 a.m.
