Following his military service, Sammy continued to protect and serve his community as a Federal Police Officer for Fort Hueneme Naval Base for another decade. His dedication to maintaining peace and security was evident in his work, earning him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and the community he served.
      In the latter part of his career, Sammy offered his skills and expertise to the Security Service at Denver National Airport. His commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of others never wavered. Those who worked alongside him often spoke of his unyielding dedication and the compassionate way he approached his responsibilities.
      Sammy was a loving brother, father, uncle, and great-uncle. He is survived by his sister, son, four nieces, and three great-nieces. His family was a source of immense pride and joy. His courage and selflessness were the pillars that held his family together, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him.
