WILSON ? James Thomas Bass, 57, of Black Creek, Route 1, died suddenly from a heart attach early Friday morning at his home. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o?clock at Lower Black Creek Primitive Baptist Church, conducted by Elder W.E. Turner. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Wilson. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Florence Turner Bass; two sosn, Vernon of Wilaon, Route 2, and James T. Bass Jr., of Black Creek, Route 2; four sisters, Mrs. Martha Holland of Pikeville, Mrs. Florence Peele of Kenly, Mrs. Minnie Turner of Norfolk, Va., and Mrs. Dora Thompson of Lucama, Route 2, and three grandchildren.
