Mark David Bassett, age 62 of Wears Valley passed away Wednesday October 6, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Donna Ruth Bassett; sons, Jeremy Bassett (April), Jonathan Bassett (Amber); grandchildren, Gabriel, Jazmin, Roman, Ava, Adaline, Jonah, Addalee; parents, Jerry and Barbara Bassett; sisters, Kris Seidenkranz (Edward), Vicki McElveen (Phil); brother-in-law, Don McBath (Yazmin); mother-in-law, Ruth McBath; many nieces, nephews and great friends. The family will receive friends from 1-2PM Saturday at Atchley?s Smoky Mountain Chapel, Pigeon Forge with funeral service to follow at 2 PM. Pastor Darren Wigington will be officiating. Interment will follow at Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens.
