Bessie Mae Bass Crane
Services for Bessie Mae Bass Crane will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, in the Gordon-Foster-Brown Chapel with the Rev. Andy Davis officiating.
Interment will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park in Athens.
Services are under the direction of Gordon-Foster-Brown Funeral Home of Athens.
Mrs. Crane died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007, in Belton.
She was born Feb. 24, 1916, in Athens. Mrs. Crane was a devoted wife and mother. She considered her life's work complete and her purpose fulfilled through the love and support that she gave her husband as he served in the military for 33 years, and through her two children who love the Lord, who serve the Lord and who are passing on her legacy of faith to their children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Crane is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Joe David and Sharon Crane of Liberty; daughter and son-in-law, the Rev. Andy and Sharon Davis of Belton; and six grandchildren and their families: Chuck and Jodie Crane Deinum and Collin, Carter, Caleb and Chloe; David and Jenifer Crane and Makenna and Delaney; Stephen Crane; Julie Crane; Danny and Stephanie Davis; and Eric and Christy Davis Jackson and Davis and Asa.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Belton Building Fund.
