Michael Bass
Michael Bass, 60, Goldsboro, passed away Friday, Sept. 17, 2021, at his home.
Born in Wayne County Dec. 23, 1960, he was the son of the late Chester Bass and Ruby Mason Bass.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Robert Edgerton.
Michael is survived by his wife, Sherry E. Bass; daughter, Stacy Lancaster (Joey); sons, Mason Bass and Jordan Edgerton (Ashley); siblings, Bonnie Allen, Alton Bass, Danny Bass and Connie Lee; grandsons, Layton Edgerton and Maddox Edgerton; and several nieces and nephews.
Michael is also survived by Sherry?s family, his mother-in-law, Annie Edgerton; brother-in-law, Keith Edgerton (Cyndi); and sister-in-law, Jenny Raye.
A service to celebrate Michael?s life will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with Adam Street presiding.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, as well as following the service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
