Shaun Anthony Bass
Shaun Anthony Bass, 23, of Bomont went home to be with the Lord Sunday August 27, 2023 at CAMC General after a sudden illness.
He was the son of the late Barrie Brooklyn Bass.
Shaun was a member and youth leader of Teen Initiative Youth Camp of the United Way; graduate of Herbert Hoover High School Class of 2018; avid fishing, hunting; hanging out with friends; mudding; working on cars. He never met a stranger.
He is survived by: mother, Ruth Bass-Coleman and step-dad, Brian K. Coleman; sisters, Brianna Bass, Gracie Bass, Mya Bass, Brandie Thomas (Andy) and Retta Bass (Myrtle); brothers, Jason Bass (April) , Chris Bass (Casey), Thomas Bass, Ryan Bass, Colton Jackson, Caden ?Peanut? Jackson; step brothers, Anthony Coleman, Adam Coleman and Alex Coleman; aunts, Teresa Hutchinson (Terence), Lola Risley (Marc), Sandy Adkins and Mary Asbury; and nieces, Ellie Bass and Everleigh Bass , Hallie Bass, Josey Bass and nephews, Wyatt Bass (Kayla), Corbyn and Eli Bass.
A special thanks to Clendenin EMS for their assistance at home, Tommy Mitchell, Brandon Young and Megan Samples.
Visitation will be 6 PM to 8 PM Friday September 8, 2023 at Matics Funeral Home Inc. Clendenin. The Memorial service will immediately follow 8 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Layton officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at maticsfuneralhome.com.
