She is survived by one son, Lloyd Scott Bass, three nieces, Mrs. Bobbie Scruggs of Richmond, Mrs. Ernestine Gibson of Alexandria, and Mrs. Branch D. Elam of Hilton Head Island, S.C.; two grandchildren. Her remains rest at the Joseph Wil Bliley Funeral Home?s Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Road, where funeral services will be held Monday at 12:30 P.M. Interment Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Amelia County. Mrs. Bass was a retired school teacher in Henrico and Chesterfield Counties and a member of the first Graduating class of Mary Washington College.
