Linda Carol Bass Hice
Mrs. Linda Carol Bass Hice, 67, died Monday,August 4, 2014.
Mrs. Hice, born in Greene County, was the daughter of the late Manny and Fannie Lee Lewis Bass. She was also preceded in death by a grandchild, Donald George "Baby Trey" Sowney III.
She was a retired civil service employee having worked with the U.S. Air Force as a financial analyst. An avid doll collector, she was a member of the Madame Alexander Association of Doll Collectors and was also ana avid supporter of St. Joseph Indian School.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Lynn Hice of the home; daughter, Lindsay Michelle Hice Sowney of Goldsboro; a son, Manny Wade whitlow of Fl: sister, Judy Faye Hood; brothers, Garland Bass of VA, and Bobby Bass of elm City; two grandchildren, Lyndon and Natalie Sowney; 6 other grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
