He was 60. Visiting was at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel, 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. David Murray. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. He is survived by his parents, M.R. and Lorena Bass, Baker; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Kim and Bill Lowery, Wendy and Mark LeBlanc and Dana Bass, all of Baton Rouge, and Alyson and Jason Prater, Cartersville, Ga.; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Amy Bass, Lake Charles; a sister, Juanita Parks,Clinton; a brother, Aubrey Bass, Baker; and two grandchildren, Keely Lowery and Jade Bass. He is preceded in death by a brother, Glen R. Bass.
