  Notes	Wiregrass Farmer, Thursday, 24 January 1929 Marion Bass Dies Mr. Marion Bass, who for a number of years was a resident of Headland, died Monday night at 8 o?clock at a hospital in Montgomery. He had been in bad health for some months. The remains were brought to Headland and interment was made in the Methodist cemetery Wednesday at 12:30 o?clock. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. James Clendinen. Mr. Bass is survived by a widow who lives in Atlanta; one son, Dewey Bass, also of Atlanta; his mother, Mrs. M. Bass, of Dothan; two brothers, George Bass, of Tampa, Fla,, and Abe Bass, of Headland, and one sister, Mrs. A.B.
