Daisey Maye Bass, 88
ROUGEMONT - Miss Daisey Maye Bass, 88, a former resident of 5700 Mt. Harmony Church Rd., died in Rose Manor Health Care, Durham, Thursday morning June 19 following several months of declining health.
She was a member of Siloam Baptist Church.
Her survivors are: Four sisters, Janie Davidson of Durham, Lucille Bradley of Baltimore, Md., Queen Travis of Wash, D.C and Lola Bass of Rougemont; two bothers, James Nello Bass and Stoney Bass of Fayetteville.
The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, June 25 at 2 p.m. in Siloam Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Bass Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. one hour prior to the funeral. The body may be viewed at the funeral home Tuesday from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Cunningham and Nelson Funeral Directors are in charge of the service for Miss. Daisy Mae Bass.
