  Notes	Springfield Union, Thursday, October 17, 1985 Arline O. Bessette HOLYOKE ? Arline O. (Bacon) Bessette, 80, of 62 Knollwood Circle died Wednesday in a local nursing home. Born in Holden, she lived in Ware most of her life and attended its schools. She lived here several years and was a communicant of All Saints Church. Her husband, Adelard A. Bessette, died in 1953. She leaves four sons, Richard of Webster, Albert of Ware, Francis of Westfield, and Frederick in Pennsylvania; three daughters, Theresa Gale of Spencer, Gloria Ringer of Agawam, and Constance Masse of Holyoke; four sisters, Loretta Archambault of Westfield, Elizabeth Metcalf and Phyllis McCarthy, both of Ware, and Olive King of Brookfield; 100 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Friday morning in All Saints Church with burial in New St. Williams Cemetery. Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home is in charge. Springfield Republican, Saturday, August 23, 1930 Ware, Wife Leaves Note She Will Not Return Adelard Bessette Left With Five Children the Oldest Being Eight Years Old Ware, Aug. 22 ? Adelard Bessette of 23 East Main street reported to the police this morning that his wife, Arline Bessette, a woman of 243 or 25, had left his home despite the five children, raning in age from 14 months to eight years. The desertged husband stated that he found a note left on a table about 2 yesterday afternoon, which informed him that his wife was leaving and not returning. She further added that if officers were sent after her she would end her life. It is understood that she left town with another woman.
