Mrs. Juanita B. Bass, 75
Mrs. Juanita B. Bass, age 75, of 2544 Atlantic St. Durham, N.C. died Sunday morning in Pettigrew Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was a native of Person County and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Ophelia Bell, of Durham, one son Joseph Bass, of Durham, five sisters, Janie Bass, of Durham, Iola Bass, and Daisy Bass, of Rougemont, Lucille Bradley, of Severn, Md., and Queen Travis, of Washington D.C., three brothers, William Bass and Nello Bass of Rougemont and Stonie Bass,of Fayetteville, one grandson, Kelvin Bass of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., two great grandchildren, Amber Bass, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Jejuan Bass, of Durham and a son-in-law, Kenneth Bell, of Durham.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in Siloam Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. David H. Bell officiating. Burial will be in the Bass Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday night at Siloam Baptist Church 7-8 p.m.
Cunningham and Nelson Funeral Directors are in charge of services for Mrs. Juanita B. Bass.
