  Notes	Durham Morning Heralad, North Carolina, Tuesday, May 29, 1973 Mrs. Julia B. Bass ROXOBORO ? Mrs. Julia Beard Bass, 50, of Rt. 1, Rougemont, was pronounced dead on arrival at Person County Memorial Hospital Sunday evening. She was taken ill during church services. She was a native of Person County and was a member of the Siloam Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Siloam Baptist Church by the Rev. H.L. Bridges. Burial will be in the Bass family cemetery. She is survived by her husband, James T. Bass; two daughters, Mrs. Brenda Sumpter of Durham and Miss Amelia bass of the home; one sister, Mrs. Girtha Cooper of Roxboro; two brothers, James E. Beard of Baltimore and Willie Beard Jr. of Oaklan,alifornia; one grandchild; three stepsisters and two stepbrothers. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
