James Thomas Bass
ROUGEMONT - Mr. James Thomas "Jack" Bass, age 84, of 255 Bass Farm Rd., died Wednesday afternoon, February 20, 2002, at the Veterans Administration Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie Mae Bass, of the home; two daughters, Amelia Owens and Brenda Bass-Leathers, both of Durham; two sons, Donnell Bass, of Rougemont, and Reginald Bass, of Decatur, Ga.; one sister, Georgia Mae Smith, of Roxboro; one brother, William T. Bass, of Rougemont; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Siloam Baptist Church with the Rev. Vaughn Brayboy doing the eulogy. Burial will be in the Bass Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Siloam Baptist Church from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday.
Cunningham and Nelson Funeral Directors are in charge of services for Mr. James Thomas "Jack" Bass.
