Notice of Resale of Land
The undersigned commissioner being therein licensed by an order of the Superior Court of Person County made in that special proceeding entitled Chesley Bass and others vs. Eferd Bass, Doctor Bass, Arthur Bass and Elsie Bass, will on Monday, July 28th at twelve o?clock M. in front of the court house door in Roxboro, N.C. sell to the highest bidder for cash the land described in the petition in said action, to wit: That certain tract of land lying and being on the Waters of Rocky Fork Creek in mt. Tirzah Township, person County and bounded as follows:
On the north by the land of Emmitt Pucci, on the east by the lands of Chesley and Jerry Bass, on the south by the lands Herod Allen and on the west by the lands of Tom Bass. Containing forty acres more or less, known as the John Bass place.
A ten per cent bid having been placed on a former sale bidding will begin on this land at five hundred and six dollars.
