Troy Keith Bass
Troy Keith Bass, 45, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 8, 2006.
Born in Rocky Mount, N.C., he was a lifelong Peninsula resident. Troy graduated from Ferguson High School in 1979. He attended Warwick Assembly of God and also the Paradym Youth-Adult Ministries.
He was an avid NASCAR fan and was a part of the Dale Lemonds pit crew team at Langley Speedway.
Troy is survived by his loving mother, Christine Bass of Newport News; his father, Carl H. Bass and his wife, Dixie, of Rocky Mount, N.C.; his brother, Michael Ward of Newport News; numerous aunts and uncles; and his special friend, Jessekah Moody.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, March 12, at Weymouth Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, March 13, at Warwick Assembly of God by the Rev. Greg Cox. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
