Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Nashville by the Rev. L.P. Jackson and the Rev. Bill Denton. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Lesbia Jenkins Bass; four brothers, Russell Bass of Rocky Mount, C.W. Bass of Jackson, Howell Bass of Spring Hope and Ralph Bass of Nashville. He was a native of Nash County, had operated a restaurant in Nashville for 30 years and was a member of the Nashville Methodist Church.
