Thelma L. Bass
Mrs. Thelma L. Bass died Sunday, March 10, 2002.The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2002, at Popular Grove A.M.E., with the Rev. Anita Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in White Oak Grove Church Cemetery.
She is survived by six sons, Alvis Moore (Mary) of Reidsville, Donald Bass of Marion, Duncan Bass (Daisy), Thomas Bass (Tammy), James Bass and Charles Bass, all of Greensboro; five daughters, Sybrina Bell (Jerry) of Brooksville, Fla., Joan Negrete (Maurice), Denise Garner, Carolyn Tatum (Don), and Shirley Wilson (Darryl), all of Greensboro; one sister, Sarah Settles of Greensboro; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Woodard Funeral Home.
