Funeral services for Frank Bass, 66, were held at 4 p.m. today from the Peoples Chapel Free Will Baptist Church by the Rev. R.B. Ferrell and the Rev. Dee Bissett of Sims. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Bass, a farmer who made his home at Peoples Chapel, died at home Sunday morning.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cora Bass; two sons, W.B. Bass and H.C. Bass, both of Elm City, route 2; two daughters, Mrs. James Parker of Elm City; route 2, and Mrs. John Thomas of Portsmouth, Va.; one brither, Will Bass, Emporia, Va.; two half-brothers, Willey and Ed Robinson of Cary; and 15 grandchildren.
