Mrs. Cora Bass, Ridgeway, Dies
Ridgeway - Mrs. Cora Dove Bass, 73, of Ridgeway died early Tuesday morning at the Fairfield Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was a member of the Longtown Baptist Church, Ridgeway, South Carolina.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Minne Bass Branham of Ridgeway, and Mrs. Ruby Yarborough of Newberry; seven sons, Heyward Bass of Columbia, Tollie Bass, J.D. Bass, George Bass, Charlie Bass, Sam Bass, Johnnie Bass, all of Ridgeway; one brother, Murphy Dove of Rock Hill, a number of grandchildren, great-grandchldren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Aimwell Presbyterian Chruch, Ridgeway, at 4 o’clock Wednesday afternoon by the Reverend J.D. Beale and the Reverend J.W. Gardner, pastor of the Ridgeway Baptist Church.
Interment will be in the Aimwell cemetery. The body will remain at the home of Tollie Bass until the hour of the funeral.
