Everett R B Bass Sr.
Everett R.B. Bass Sr., 80, of Mount Dora, died Wednesday (April 2, 2003). Born in Bell, he moved to Mount Dora in 1943. He worked in the citrus business in Lake County for over 50 years. He worked as a citrus nursery contractor with Blanton's Hilltop Nursery for 35 years. He was a member of Liberty Lighthouse Church of God, Mount Dora. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Eairee; children, Everett R.B. Jr. of Leesburg, Joyce Capranica of Kissimmee, W. Jerry Bass of Mount Dora, Paul Bass of Altamonte Springs, Martha Gilbert of Mount Dora, and Phil Bass of Altoona; brothers, Lindbergh and Mason Bass, both of Bell; sisters, Lois Lee of Morriston, Betty Horne of Trenton, and Ann Beasley of High Springs; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Loomis Funeral Home, Apopka.
Visitation for Everett R.B. Bass Sr. will be held Friday (April 4, 2003) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Loomis Family Chapel. Service will be held Saturday (April 5) at 9 a.m. at Liberty Lighthouse Church of God in Mount Dora with the Rev. Harold Hanks officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the building fund of Liberty Lighthouse Church of God, 1021 East Liberty Ave., Mount Dora, FL 32757.
