Blanckert-Bassett Nuptials Held in Newark Church

NEWARK ? Redeemer Lutheran Church was the scene June 1 of the wedding of Miss Gwendolyn Joyce Bassett and William B. Blanckert.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. George Bassett of Lyons and the late Mr. Bassett. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Janet Phillips of Newark.
Rev. Ralph C. Egolf officiated.
Miss Shirley Bassett of Lyons was maid of honor for her sister, Miss Georgine Bassett, sister of the bride, Miss Kathleen Filippelo, both of Lyons, and Miss Barbara Banckett of Newark, sister of the bridegroom, were bridesmaids.
Erling Ridley of Newark, uncle of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were James Graff, Jr., Gerald Bullouch, both of Newark, and John Moose of Lyons, cousin of the bridegroom.
