Bass of Halifax and Jack Eason, son of Mrs. Ruth Eason or Rocky Mount were married Tuesday evening, July 15 in the Baptist Parsonage of Rocky Mount, with the pastor, Rev. R.L. Councilman, officiating. The bride and bridegroom entered together and were unattended. The bride wore a sheer navy blue dress and a small white hat. Her other accessories were of nay. She wore a shoulder corsage of white orchid. Immediately after the wedding the couple left for a brief honeymoon to unannounced points. The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.G. Bass and has been employed at the County Agent?s Building in Halifax for the past several months. Mr. Eason is employed by the Shipbuilding and Drydock Co. of Newport News, Va.
