  Notes	Richmond Times Dispatch, Virginia, Saturday, September 13, 1952 Walter G. Bass, Jr. Walter G. Bass, Jr., 42, of 304 North Thirty-first St., died Thursday at a local hospital. Mr. Bass was born in Halifax, N.C., the son of the late Walter G. Bass and Mrs. Pearl Richards Bass. He was educated in the Weldon, N.C. Schools and came to Richmond as a young man. He was employed by the Home Beneficial Life Insurance Company. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Frances Godsey Bass; two daughters, the Misses Shirley and Frances Lila Bass; a son, George W. Bass; a stepson, Billy Huffman, all of Richmond; a sister, Mrs. Jack Eason, and a brother, Jack H. Bass, both of Halifax. A funeral service will be held at 4 P.M. Sunday at the Billups Funeral Home, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
