  Notes	Robesonian, Lumberton, North Carolina, 24 August 1943 Funeral Rites Held for Mrs. Nannie Bass Fairmont, Aug. 24.-Mrs. Nannie Bass, 75, died Friday morning at her home near Fairmont. She had been in bad health for years. Her funeral services were conducted at the home Saturday afternoon at 3 o?clock. She was buried in the Inman cemetery where all her close relatives are buried. She is survived by two sons, Wayland and Alva Bass, and two daughters, Mrs. W.F. Wiiloughby and Mrs. Ida Davis, all of Fairmont. Flower bearers were Bernice Willioghby. Alpha Bass, Hazel Davis, Evelyn, Gladys and Ophelia Bass, Mrs. Michel Carlyle, Mrs. Ernest Willoughby, Mrs. Livingston Bowen, Mrs. Alton Edwards. Pallbearers were Ernest Willoughby, Alton Edwards, Robert Lovett, Fred and Wilbur Willoughby, Earl Jenkins. The family wishes to thank all for their kindness throughout her illness and for the beautiful flowers, among the wreathes being one from the Fidelis class.
